The first three finishers in each age group in each event will receive gold, silver, and bronze 2025 USATF Masters Indoor Championships medals respectively.
USATF individual event champions will also receive a championship patch. Only one patch will be awarded to an individual athlete regardless of how many events that athlete wins. Members of championship relay teams do not receive patches.
The fourth through eighth place finishers in each event will receive a USATF Masters Championship ribbon.
Non-US Citizens are not eligible to displace US Citizens or USA affiliated athletes for awards or to score points in the club competition.
Awards may be picked up at the Awards table. Awards may be picked up no earlier than one hour after the completion of the event. Medals will not be mailed to the athletes who fail to pick up their medals after their events.
Each athlete will receive two (2) bibs with their competition numbers. You will receive your bibs at the packet pickup location in the Milton Frank Stadium, during the listed packet pickup times (see Packet Pickup). All track and road athletes must wear their bibs both on their front and back (the bib on the back must include the athlete’s age division) during all competitions. Field event athletes have the choice of wearing their numbered bib on either the front or back.

Athletes in all track and field events must confirm either online or in person by 5:00 pm CT the day before your event is scheduled. Athletes in the 10k road walk or the 10k run are not required to confirm. All athletes must report to the Clerk Room (Call Room) - Call Room schedule.
Confirmations/Scratches will start on Sunday, July 13, 2025. An email will be sent to you (at the email address in your USATF Connect Profile). The email will contain a link you can use to either confirm and/or scratch the events for which you have registered.

The track will be available for inspection and warm up activities. There will be no trainers available and no coolers or water available – athletes must come prepared. All athletes will be asked to leave the track area at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Two (2) competition-approved implements of every size and weight will be provided. However, it is recommended that athletes bring their own implements. All personal implements must be certified at the Implement Inspection area during the times specified below.
Athletes wishing to use their own implements must submit those implements for inspection at least two hours before the scheduled start of their throwing event. Approved implements will be impounded until the start of the competition.

Implements for all early morning throws (before 10 a.m.) should be submitted for inspection the day before your event.
Athletes must wear only 1/4" (6mm) PYRAMID SPIKES on the track.
Prohibited spikes include "Needle Spike Pins" and "Christmas Tree Spikes" and any length longer than 1/4 inch. All shoes will be checked.
Starting blocks are permitted (they are optional) for events up to 400m and 4x400 relay. Only supplied starting blocks will be allowed; no personal starting blocks will be permitted.
USATF Masters will have 30 vaulting poles reserved for use during the Championships. For more information and to reserve a pole, please click here. Note that the deadline for reservations is June 24, 2025, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
Any protest must be made to the event head official or to the referee, not later than 30 minutes after the results of the event are communicated, announced, or posted. Protests not filed within that time frame will be denied. The official clock for each event will be live.finishtiming.com/results. Once the event is marked “official,” the protest period has ended for that event. Once a protest has been decided and the result of the protest communicated, announced, or posted, an athlete has 30 minutes to file an appeal. The fee to file an appeal is $100. To file an appeal, you must submit the written appeal to the Games Subcommittee. The appeal fee is nonrefundable unless your appeal is upheld. Protest forms will be available at the Clerking tables.
For appropriate and timely processing of record applications, athletes achieving a new age division record in an event should be prepared to submit a copy of their birth certificate or passport (driver’s license or similar is not acceptable), if not already submitted for a prior record.
Starting heights for the high jump and pole vault competition will be determined by the Masters Track & Field Championships Games Subcommittee. The facility equipment will permit a minimum High Jump height of 0.80m and a minimum Pole Vault height of approximately 0.85m.
All eligible members of USATF and eligible members of other World Masters Athletics (WMA) Masters Affiliates may compete in these Championships. However, only U.S. citizens and athletes eligible to compete for the USA in international competitions may score or win Championship medals; all athletes not eligible to compete for the USA will receive equivalent awards.
There are no qualifying standards for this competition.
Athletes must be 25 years or older on July 17, 2025. Individual and relay competitions will be conducted in five-year age divisions. Please note that this is a Masters meet following Masters, not Open, rules. i.e., the hurdles for Men 25-49 will be 39 inches (Open Men use 42 inches).
All athletes must be 2025 members of USATF (or other WMA Masters Affiliate) in good standing. USATF memberships may be purchased online. Non-U.S. citizens must be eligible members of their nation’s World Masters Athletics Masters Member.
All clubs must be 2025 USATF member organizations to score team points and athletes must have that club listed in their USATF profile when entering these Championships. Find your local association here.
Club and non-club relay teams shall be separate divisions. USATF Competition Rule 332.2(g) details the definitions for both club and non-club relay teams. Only U.S. citizens and USA affiliated athletes may be members of club relay teams.
Proof of date of birth will be required from all competitors in advance. See the Verification of Age section on the entry information page for more details.
You must be a 2025 USATF member to enter the Championships. If you do not have a 2025 membership, please complete a membership application first. You must also meet the eligibility requirements.
All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No entry will be considered completed unless it is accompanied by full payment of fees and all required documents (see below).

Athletes will not be considered entered into the meet until ALL required documents have been received. Athletes missing required documents (usually date of birth verification) will be listed as “info needed” on the Status of Entries page on the USATF website until all such documents are received.
Relay team entries will open on Wednesday, July 16, at 2:00 pm. Relay entry forms will be available at (and must be returned to) Packet Pickup. Relay teams may only enter on-site; however, each member of a relay team must also be entered in the meet as an individual. The normal entry process applies to each team member, including the deadlines.
All relay teams must return their relay forms to the Relay desk in the Packet Pickup area.
The fee for relay team entries is $60 per team, payable by credit card only. Relay entries will close as indicated above.
Athletes must be entered in the meet to compete on a relay team. Athletes who will only be entered in a relay must register online and select the “Relay Only” event.
If an individual will be joining others to form a team and is not competing in any other events, the process described above still applies.
All members of club relay teams must be U.S. citizens or USA affiliated athletes for the club relay team to score points in the team competition.
An athletes’ meeting conducted by the USATF Masters Track & Field Committee will be held on Friday, July 18 at the conclusion of Relays. Location TBA.
The Athlete Banquet will be held at the Mars Music Hall located at 700 Monroe St Huntsville, AL 35801.
The banquet will start at 6:30PM and will include a BBQ buffet, dessert and a cash bar. Tickets are required to enter and can be purchased during your registration for $50.00 per ticket. If you did not purchase a ticket during registration, please contact Rachel Guest at mtfsecretary@usatf.org. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase after the close of entries.
The facility will have a certified trainer, ice, and first aid on site. An EMT will be stationed at the Finish Line.
Massage Therapists will be available (for a fee). Teams seeking to bring their own massage therapists (or other physios) must have their therapist submit an Athlete Services Credential Application to receive a credential. To receive a credential, therapists must meet all qualifications outlined by USATF Registered Medical Provider guidelines. Application for a credential does not guarantee the ability to perform these services at the event. Uncredentialed therapists will be asked to cease operations or leave the stadium.

Hot and cold food and beverages will be available from the concession stand or food trucks.
Athletes may carry in a water bottle and small snacks in their bag to stay hydrated.
No other outside food/drink may be brought into the spectator areas.
Meet logo and USATF branded merchandise will be available in the concourse by concession stand.
Athletes please be aware there are NO showers at the facility.
