2020 USATF National Club Cross Country Championships and 5 KM Championships canceled

Indianapolis -- The USATF National Club Cross Country Championships slated for December 12, 2020 in San Francisco, California has been canceled due to Covid-19. Also cancelled is the USATF 5 km Championships originally scheduled for October 31 in New York, NY.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the respective Local Organizing Committees and their local health authorities informed USATF that they would not host the championships.

San Francisco will play host in 2022, with the 2021 edition of the USATF National Club Cross Country Championships set to be held in Tallahassee, Florida.

To encourage athletes to remain active, USATF launched the USATF Road Running Virtual Challenge. Visit USATF.org/roadrunningchallenge for more information on how to participate.

For up-to-date information, USATF has created the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Information Page to help communicate updated information to athletes, coaches, athlete representatives, event organizers, and members. This page will be updated regularly as new information emerges. Visit USATF.org/covid19 or click here.
