ATTENTION: World U20 Championship Passport Requirement
The 2026 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships will serve as the selection event for the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships team. Age eligible athletes competing for a spot on the World U20 Championships team must present a passport valid through February 10, 2027 (or a clear paper or digital copy) at Team Processing, which will be conducted onsite at the USATF U20 Championships.
Although the World U20 Championships are to be held in Eugene, Oregon, World Athletics requires athlete passport information be provided as proof of citizenship and age. Passport cards or driver’s licenses will not be accepted. Athletes who do not have a valid passport at the time of Team Processing risk forfeiting selection to the World U20 Championships team.
NOTE: While athletes aged 14 and 15 years of age may compete at USATF U20 Championships, only athletes who are 16 to 19 years of age on December 31,2026 (born in 2010, 2009, 2008, or 2007) may qualify to compete at the World U20 Championships.
