The 2023 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships is open to 2023 USATF members who fall within the youth age divisions listed below. Athletes can join USATF by visiting USATF.org.
Registration will open on November 20, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. ET and can be done through Athletic.net. The non-refundable entry fee of $20 per individual must be submitted online at the time of registration. On-time registration must be done by December 5, 2023 at 10:00 PM. Late and on-site entries will not be accepted for this competition. Age divisions for the 2023 competition year are as follows:
*Note: Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) “Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Junior Olympic National Championships.
Packet pick-up will take place at the Recreation Building at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.
All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers on the front of their jersey during competition. If an athlete loses the bib number, a replacement may be purchased for a fee of $10.00.
Coaches must be 3-Step Safe Sport compliant and on the Coaches Registry indicating that they have met the coaching education standards. For more information please visit: https://www.usatf.org/programs/coaches/coaches-registry.
Tents will not be allowed to be brought in from the outside. If you would like to rent a tent, contact Rick Whishman from Rent and Rave – 502-245-9966 or rick@rentnrave.com.
Top 25 individuals and Top 3 teams in each age group earn medals and All-American honors.
There is no fee for admission at the 2023 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships.
Custom championship t-shirts and Team USATF merchandise will be available to purchase.
