Kerron Clement is the son of Gordian and Claudette. He grew up in a small town in Trinidad until his grandmother moved the family to the U.S. in 1998 when Clement was thirteen years old. In 2009, he became the third man to ever win the 400m hurdles world title twice. All three men accomplished this in consecutive meets.
