Son of Carol Lawson…has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in business administration…In 2012, was the USATF Junior long jump champion…even with a hairline fracture in his ankle, he won the long and triple jump state titles during his junior year of high school… is a 15-time NCAA All-American, and in 2016, set an NCAA career record as the all-time leading scorer in the long jump with thirty-three points…In 2017, took part in the J.W. Blessings Christmas Charity Event, donating thousands of dollars worth of toys to children in need…Was a three-sport athlete in high school, also playing football and basketball.
