Daughter of Michelle Naranjo ... Her sister, Taylor, played basketball at New Mexico Highlands University, and her uncle, Leroy Naranjo, played football at New Mexico Highlands...She started out as a sprinter, clocking a 100m PB of 12.27 as a 15-year-old in 2010, and then took home five gold medals from the New Mexico State Championships in 2011 after winning the 100m, shot put, javelin, 4x100m and 4x200m…
