Personal

Andrew Irwin is the son of Steve and Tina Irwin. Irwin has three siblings: Tiffany, Stephanie, and Dakota. His sister Stephanie pole vaulted for Arkansas and earned All American honors twice. Her success inspired him to begin pole vaulting during his fifth grade year.

During his junior year of high school, Irwin decided to focus his athletic career on pole vault in hopes of earning a college scholarship.
In 2010, Irwin was named Arkansas’ Gatorade Track and Field Athlete of the Year.

Currently, Irwin works with Joint Forces K9 group to sell and train guard and protection puppies.
