Amy Hastings Cragg is the daughter of Scott and Aileen Hastings. She has one brother named Tommy and one sister named Sara. She is now married to former Olympian, Arkansas Razorback, and NCAA Champion Alistar Cragg. Cragg became serious about her running career in her ninth grade year after participating in a multitude of sports growing up. In college, Cragg was teammates with Desiree Linden, who also qualified to represent Team USA at the 2016 Olympic Games in the marathon. Cragg and Linden were both also 2012 Olympians. Cragg changed training groups to join the Nike Bowerman Track Club and train with fellow Olympian, Shalane Flanagan. Now, Cragg supports the Chicago Council of Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization that works to increase the health and confidence of elementary and middle school girls.
