These are the official rules for the USATF Where Have Your Wings Taken You Sweepstakes (hereinafter “Sweepstakes”).  The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 pm (ET) on April 4, 2023 and ends at 11:59 pm (ET) on April 18, 2023 (“Entry Period”).     

1. How to Enter – You are entered in the Sweepstakes when you (1) post a photo on your Instagram account of the best place track and field has taken you (your “Post”), (2) tag USATF (@USATF) in your Post and include the hashtag #ShowUsYourWings, and (3) follow USATF on Instagram, during the Entry Period (an “Entry”).  To enter, you must (1) have a valid, public Instagram account, and (2) submit your Entry pursuant to the Instagram Terms of Use available at http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms/.  If you do not have an Instagram account, visit http://www.instagram.com or download the free Instagram application and register in accordance with the enrollment instructions for a free Instagram account.  If you choose to enter using your mobile device, standard data usage fees may apply.  See your wireless provider for pricing plan details. Limit one (1) Entry per Instagram handle/person per day.  Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, Instagram duplication and repetition, or similar entry method or more than one (1) Entry per day will void all Entries for that Instagram handle/person and result in automatic disqualification.  Dates subject to change.  No entry fee or purchase is required to enter or win.  Void where prohibited by law.
   
   To enter by mail, on a 3” x 5” piece of paper, hand-print your name, complete address, telephone number (including area code), date of birth and email address, and mail it in an envelope with proper postage affixed to: USATF Where Have Your Wings Taken You Sweepstakes, c/o Natalie Uhl, 130 E. Washington Street, Suite 800, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.  All mail-in entries must be received by USATF by April 20, 2023 in order to be considered.  For each mailed in entry, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.  Each participant may submit one (1) mail-in entry per calendar day during the Entry Period.  Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by USATF.  Limit: one (1) entry per envelope. 

2. Eligibility – Open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., ages 13 years and older at the time of entry.  Employees of USA Track & Field, Inc., (“Sponsor” or “USATF”), and its affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies (collectively “Promotion Parties”), and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.  By participating, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules.  Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility regarding the qualifications of winners.  Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. Drawing – Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or about April 21, 2023 to select one (1) potential winner (a “Potential Winner”) from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.  By entering, you grant permission to be contacted by Sponsor via email or telephone in connection with the Sweepstakes.  You must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules.  If you are named as a Potential Winner, you are not an official winner (each a “Winner”, collectively the “Winners”) until your eligibility has been verified and you have been notified that verification is complete.  Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.   Each Potential Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (unless prohibited) (collectively an "Affidavit"), which must be received by Sponsor within two (2) Days of the date on the notice.  If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted, fails to execute and return the Affidavit within the required time period, prize is returned as undeliverable, or he/she refuses his/her prize for any reason, Potential Winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor may select another Potential Winner by random drawing, if time permits.  For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, the times indicated in these rules are based on Eastern Time Zone and a day (“Day”) is defined as twenty-four (24) consecutive hours.  Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
4. Prize – One (1) First Place Prize: Winner will receive an electronic gift card to the USATF online store (https://team-usatf-store.myshopify.com/) (ARV: $125.00) (“Prize(s)”).  No substitutions or transfers of Prizes permitted by Winners.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.  No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with cash or another prize of comparable or greater value.  Prizes will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied offered by Sponsor.  Winner is responsible for all expenses on the receipt and use of a Prize, and all federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with a Prize.  Limit: One (1) Prize per person/household. 
5. General – By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.  All entries that are illegible, tampered with, altered or are obtained other than through authorized channels are automatically void.  Participants must complete all data requested on the entry to be eligible.  Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, any human error, technical malfunctions, or for late, lost, illegible, stolen, or misdirected entries.  No photocopies, facsimiles, or other mechanical reproductions of entries are allowed.  The date and time of online entry receipt shall be determined by Sponsor.  All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcements of Winner(s), or the distribution of the Prize(s).  All entries are subject to verification at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

6. Internet – If for any reason the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor or its subsidiaries and affiliates that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.  If the Sweepstakes is cancelled for any reason, all entries received up to the point of termination will be included in a random drawing to award the Prize(s).  Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.  Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment or software, or for failure of any automatic entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof - including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the name of the person on the entry form.
   
   ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

7. Prize Redemption – Winners waive any and all claims of liability against Sponsor, their agents, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, successors and assigns arising from any accident, loss, injury or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or from acceptance or use of any of the Prize(s) awarded.  Sponsor and their agents, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries and their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, licensees, sponsors, successors and assigns: (i) make no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind concerning the Prize(s), and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty.  All expenses on the receipt and use of the Prize(s), and all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of each Winner.  Except where prohibited by law, each Winner agrees that Sponsor and their affiliated companies have the right to use Winner’s name, likeness and/or photograph for promotional purposes, including but not limited to being published on www.usatf.org or any of its social media accounts, without additional compensation. 
8. Winner’s List - For the name of the Winners, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope within ninety (90) days after the Entry Period to USATF Where Have Your Wings Taken You Sweepstakes Winner, Attn: Natalie Uhl, 130 E. Washington Street, Suite 800, Indianapolis, IN 46204. 
9. Privacy – Entrants agree that personal data submitted with an entry, including name and email address may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by USATF and its subsidiaries and affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by USATF and its subsidiaries and affiliates.  Except as provided in these Official Rules, USATF’s use of your information is subject to our Privacy Statement at www.usatf.org.
10. Governing Law – The Sweepstakes and the Official Rules shall be governed according to the laws of Indiana, without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. All claims, actions or suits must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations.
