Born to Sandy and Bob Cranny...Both parents were competitive triathletes, with mother Sandy racing the Ironman World Championships in Kona in 2005… Elise and her sisters, Emily and Lauren, quickly took after them, with Elise racing triathlons from a young age as well as playing soccer… Was standout runner at Niwot High School in Colorado, where she won two 4A state cross country titles and ran the 3rd fastest high school 1500m time ever (4:10.95)... Enjoys listening to country music, cooking, and baking and is quite proud of her coconut cake...Studied human biology at Stanford… Is a mentor for Voice in Sport, a platform for female athletes to connect and raise awareness around women’s equality within sports.
