• Set the World Outdoor record on June 19, 2021 with a throw of 23.37m/76-8.25 that took down the Randy Barnes’ 1990 world record, adding 10 inches to that mark.
• Set the World Indoor record on January 24, 2021 with a throw of 22.82m/74-10.5
• Threw the greatest shot put series in Olympic history at the Tokyo Games and became only the third man to win back-to-back golds in the event.
