A great event begins and ends with your team. In addition to support from your local USATF Association, your local organizing committee could also include a leader from the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Sports Commission, and representation from local law enforcement and the venue/stadium or track. The LOC will work closely with the respective USATF Sport Committee and USATF Events department. As food for thought, here are some of the people you’ll want by your side for the big event.
