Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund

The Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund is part of USATF’s effort to fill the “developmental gap” that occurs right after graduation. To qualify for this program, athletes must have:

• Have completed/forfeited their NCAA (collegiate track and field eligibility) - 2018/2019 track and field season/school year (one of the following):
  • Completed eligibility after a Cross Country season – November (2018) 
  • Completed eligibility after an Indoor season – March (2019)
  • Completed eligibility after an Outdoor season – June (2019) 
• Achieved the 2019 IAAF World Championship Standard in their event

The one time stipend amount is $5,000.

In addition, recipients are required to attend the Educational Summit (i.e. Emerging Elite Athlete Symposium formerly known as “Rookie Camp”) conducted by USATF, which features seminars on drug testing, life as an Elite Athlete, USOC/USATF support programs, and media training. Only athletes who meet Tier III criteria will qualify for this program.

The application period will begin in September 2019.
