Impressive results in multis and race walk competitions kick off 2021 USATF Junior Olympics

JACKSONVILLE, Florida -- Eager USATF future stars lined up to compete on Day 1 of the 2021 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships at the University of North Florida. A bevy of prelims comprised most of the day’s events, followed by field, multi and race walk finals.

Competition footage is available on demand with a usatf.tv+ subscription.

Following a sunny start, storms moved in and caused a three-hour weather delay. Competition picked up again at 4:00pm with the 1500m race walk and multi field events. An updated schedule can be found here.
