Hall’s 15K win earns her USATF Athlete of the Week honors

INDIANAPOLIS -- Marielle Hall (Portland, Oregon) won the USATF women’s 15K road title to earn USATF Athlete of the Week.

Hall, who was eighth in the 10,000m at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, dominated the 15K at the Gate River Run in Jacksonville, Florida, winning by 58 seconds in 48:52. By the 5K mark, Hall had established a comfortable lead over the pack, and by 10K she was 30 seconds ahead of her nearest challenger. The win was a first for Hall on the USATF Running Circuit this year and it moved her to fifth in the point standings.

Full results are here.
