RENO -- Thousands of talented cross country youth will vie for titles at the 2018 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships held at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in Reno, Nevada on Saturday, December 9.
Live event coverage will be available starting at 9:00 a.m. PT here on USATF.TV+. Saturday’s meet, which will feature 10 races with athletes ranging in age from 7-18, will begin with the 7-8 girls’ 2 km at 9:00 a.m. Click here for a full schedule. In addition to the races, which will see over 2,900 USATF Future Stars compete, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park will feature a DJ, vendors and the USATF awards stage ready to recognize the top finishers and teams. Individual awards will be given to the top 25 individuals in each event. Team awards will be given to the top three teams for boys and girls in each age division. The awards ceremonies will be held 30 minutes after each race. Opening Ceremony will take place Friday, December 7 starting at 5 p.m. The ceremony - open to all participants and their families - will include music, giveaways, cheerleaders and a light show.
