We understand that the suspension of competition at the USATF Masters Outdoor Championships is deeply disappointing, especially given the time, financial commitment, and preparation you invested to participate in this meet.
The air quality conditions that necessitated this decision were beyond the control of both USA Track & Field and the Local Organizing Committee. While we recognize the impact this has on our athletes, the costs associated with planning, hosting, and producing the championship are incurred regardless of whether competition ultimately takes place. For this reason, registration fees are non-refundable, as stated during the registration process.
