• Packet Pick-up: Race packets will be available on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 6:00 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker St. Northwest, Atlanta. Packets may also be picked up on race day, Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. at the Masters tent at the start line area.

• Awards Ceremony: On-site at Centennial Park after the one-hour Protest Period
  • USATF Championship Medals will be awarded to the top 3 Age-Grading finishers, the top 3 Overall finishers, the top 3 finishers in each 5-year Age Division starting at 40, and the top 3 teams in each 10-year Age Division starting at 40 and up, both Men and Women. The Top 3 Teams receive a plaque and medals for declared team members. In addition, Championship Patches are available for the Age Graded Champions, the Overall Champions, and each Age Division National Champion.
  • Gold (90%+), Silver (85%+), and Bronze (80%+) Elite Performance Age-Grading Medals, available only at USATF Masters LDR National Championship events, will be awarded to all who complete the Masters Championship race with an age grade score at or above 80%, representing a National Class performance or better.

• There will be no Technical Meeting for these Championships. All competitors are responsible for knowing the information contained in the Technical Instructions, which are posted here.
• Drug Testing: All competitors entered in the USATF Masters 5 km Championships are eligible for “in-competition” drug testing. Any questions regarding prescriptions or other over-the-counter medication should be directed to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) at 1-888-233-0393. If the 2022 USATF Masters 5 km Championships is selected for drug testing, prize money checks will be mailed following our receipt of the drug testing results. The race has no control over when the results of the drug tests are released, and we cannot release the prize money until we have official results as it can directly affect the distribution amounts.
