The 2018 IAAF U20 World Championships will be held in Tampere, Finland. Tampere is located in southern Finland between the lakes of Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi. With a city population of 313,058 and an urban agglomeration of 364,000 inhabitants, Tampere is the most populous inland city in any of the Nordic Countries.
