Athletics World Cup

This summer will see the world's top athletics nations compete in the Athletics World Cup London 2018. The ground breaking two-day event takes place under floodlights across two evening sessions on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July at the London Stadium.

The competition format will feature all field and track events up to and including the 1500m, which will star the world's eight leading athletics nations in those disciplines, competing for a $2 million prize pot, with just one man and one woman from each nation selected in each event in an all-straight final format.

The nations are determined from the top ranked teams from the 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championship over the Athletics World Cup Competition Events; China, France, Germany, GB & NI, Jamaica, Poland, South Africa and USA.
