In addition to selecting the athletes for the U.S. Olympic Team - 50 kilometer Race Walk, this event will select the athletes who will represent the U.S. at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup, in Saransk Russia. Competition at the 25th edition of the IAAF World Race Walk Cup will take place on 12 & 13 May, 2012.
