Entry Information

You must be a 2010 USATF member to enter the Championships. If you do not have a 2010 membership, please complete a membership application first. You must also meet the eligibility requirements.

Entry Process

  • Online is the preferred method of entry and are provided a $5 discount on the first event entered.  Non-U.S. citizens must enter the Championships using the paper mail-in entry form (online entries are not available).
  • A 2010 USATF membership is required to enter online (please join online if you are not a member).
  • To enter online without an entry mark, put "NT" or "NM" (without the quotes) in the Mark box during the entry process.
  • A Help Line is available for those athletes who need assistance with the entry process. For assistance, call the USATF National Office at 317-713-4685 during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET Monday-Friday.
  • If after completing your entry the status of entry page indicates "info. needed" you should fax a copy of your birth certificate or the information page of your passport--with your membership number written on it--to the USATF National Office at 800-833-1466.

* National Masters Track & Field Committee surcharge of $10 per athlete. Combined events count as the first event.

All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No entry will be considered completed unless it is accompanied by full payment of fees and all required documents (see below).

Online entries must be paid for by credit card (Visa) or electronic funds transfer ("electronic check"). Paper entries must be paid for by check. Please make checks payable to "USATF New England".

    • If entering via paper/mail-in entry: athletes entering by mail must attach a copy of their proof-of-age document to the entry form.

USATF also recommends athletes bring a copy of their proof-of-age document to packet pick-up as a back-up measure--a proof-of-age document is required prior to receiving competitor packets.

Athletes will not be considered to be entered into the meet until ALL required documents have been received. Athletes missing required documents will be listed as "info needed" on the Status of Entries page of the USATF website until all such documents are received.

Entry Status

To check the status of your entry visit the Status of Entries page (statuses are updated hourly). ALL received entries (both online and paper) are posted on the Status of Entries page.

Athletes will not be considered to be entered into the meet until ALL required documents have been received. Athletes missing required documents (usually date of birth verification) will be listed as "info needed" on the Status of Entries page of the USATF website until all such documents are received.

Eligibility Requirements

  • General: All eligible members of USATF and eligible members of other IAAF member federations may compete in these Championships. However, only U.S. citizens may score or win Championship medals. Non-U.S. citizens must enter the Championships using the paper mail-in entry form (online entries are not available).

  • Qualifying Standards: There are no qualifying standards for this competition.
  • Age Divisions: Athletes must be 30 years or older on March 28, 2010. Individual competition will be conducted in five-year age divisions. Relay competition will be conducted in ten-year age divisions.
  • USATF Membership: All U.S. citizens must be 2010 members of USATF in good standing. USATF memberships may be purchased online, through your local Association Office, or by calling the USATF National Office at 317-713-4665. Non-U.S. citizens must be eligible members of their IAAF member federation.
  • Club Scoring & Athlete Representation: All clubs must be 2010 USATF member organizations to score team points and have athletes represent the club in these Championships.
  • Relays: Club and non-club relay teams shall be separate divisions. USATF Competition Rule 332.2(g) details the definitions for club and non-club relay teams.
  • Proof of Birth: Proof of date of birth will be required from all competitors in advance. See the entry information page for more details.

Relay Entries

All entry for relays is done on site at the meet.

Relay entry forms will be available there.

Athletes must be entered in the meet to compete on a relay team.

Athletes who will only be competing in a relay event must use the mail-in entry form and follow the instructions on the form.
