Sara Reese

Sara comes to USATF from her previous position as the head of Finance and Accounting for the Johnson County Public Library System, headquartered in Franklin, IN.

Sara has a strong background in policy, procedure and budgeting specifically for non-profit organizations. While working in the Public Library system, she consulted with both the Indiana State Board of Accounts and the Department of Local Government of Finance to develop and beta-test new procedures for units of local government.   Her responsibilities focused on forecasting, budgeting, cash management and reporting, as well as writing and implementing procedure with a focus on IRS compliance.

Sara’s experience also includes work as an internal auditor for the American United Life Insurance Company and as a CPA and Senior Auditor at Katz, Sapper & Miller LLC in Indianapolis.

Sara graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manchester University in 1992 with a B.A. in Accounting.

Sara and her husband are Indiana natives who live in Franklin with their three sons. She enjoys boating and camping with her family.
