INDIANAPOLIS -- USATF is pleased to announce the launch of the USATF Youth Virtual Summer Challenge in conjunction with our partners at AthleticNET. The Challenge is open to every young athlete aged 7-18 and will run July 10 - July 31, 2020.

Registration is open June 23-July 31. USATF members receive a discounted price of $10, while non-USATF members will pay $20 to enter.  Athletes will enter online at AthleticNET and the registration fee includes unlimited entries. Participants may upload videos of their performances beginning on July 10. A coach will need to verify the mark.

At the end of the challenge, each entrant will receive a special competitor’s medal. USATF members will also each receive a personalized virtual bib.

Events to be contested for boys and girls in each age group:
Track: 100, 200, 400, 800, Mile, 2 Mile, 1 Mile Race Walk
Field: Standing Long Jump, Shot Put, Mini/Aero Javelin, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump

How Participation Works:
After registering, athletes will upload their race/throw/jump videos via the AthleticNET app for review and verification.  Once verified, entries into the challenge will be posted on Athletic.net and athletes will be provided the opportunity to share their results on social media with friends and teammates using the hashtag #USATF.
