Credentials

Registered Coach Credentials/Wristband (RC)

Registered Coach “RC” credentials are designed to allow an athlete’s coach access to the warm-up area or practice track for the purpose of preparing for competition, and access to general admission seating in the competition venue in order to support your athlete. Credentials are non-transferrable, and each athlete will only be permitted to designate one “RC” credential via the online registration system.

• Individual must be a current (2020) member of the USATF Coaches Registry Program for the (1) Registered Coach (RC) credential/wristband available (requirements apply)

Credentials can be obtained at Credentialing/Packet Pick Up on-site for the following event:

• 2020 USATF Distance Classic (Pasadena, CA)

 Athletes will only have the following option for their support person:

• RC - Registered Coach - coach of record (warm-up area and stadium)

Each participating athlete may request one of the RC credentials for his or her coach by specifying the name and USATF membership number of the individual designated to receive on his or her on-line registration (entry form). Please see the registered coach section below for all applicable requirements.

*Note: After the on-line registration closes, USATF will not accept any updates for registration via email nor onsite. Please contact Matt Rohlf. if you are unable to add your coach online in advance.

RC - REGISTERED COACH CREDENTIAL/WRISTBAND

All coaches designated to receive a “RC” credential must be:

• a current (2020) member of USATF,
• be currently listed on USATF’s SafeSport Compliance List, and
• have completed the USATF Education Standard prior to receiving a “RC” credential

All requirements must be completed prior to the close of online entries. Only the individuals meeting all USATF Coaches Registry requirements and specified by participating athletes via their online registration will be allowed to receive an “RC” credential. You will not have the option to sign up for the Coaches Registry on-site to obtain a coach credential.
