To empower women in all aspects of track and field by identifying barriers and creating solutions to promote gender equity and diversity. We will highlight accomplishments and provide resources to further skillsets and leadership opportunities for women in track and field.

WC Strategic Goals

The USATF Women’s Commission works to focus on the Strategic Plan that acts as a guide to complement the goals of the Mission Statement. This includes:

1. Governance: To establish an influential voice and presence of the Women’s Commission within USATF that complements the mission of the organization.
2. Advocacy: To promote efforts with the highest standards in ethics, diversity, and integrity that support inclusive and visible roles for women athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, and sports medicine personnel in track and field, LDR, and race walking.
3. Professional Opportunities: To develop and increase access to professional opportunities for women in track and field, LDR, and race walking.
