This December, over 3,000 youth athletes will journey to Albuquerque, NM for the 2015 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships. Athletes will compete at Balloon Fiesta Park (map) - home to the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the world’s largest hot air balloon festival – and provides ample parking, plenty of room, and spectator-friendly sight lines. The scenic Sandia Mountains will provide a beautiful backdrop for the Championships. Follow us on Twitter @2015joxc for more information and updates. Competition takes place in six two-year age divisions, ranging between the ages of 7 and 18. Team scoring will be across the six age divisions.
