This page is regarding the SENIOR 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships ONLY. There is a different entry process for the USA JUNIOR Championships.
You must be a 2010 USATF member to enter the Championships. If you do not have a 2010 membership, please complete a membership application first. You must also be a U.S. citizen, be eligible to represent the U.S. in international competition and meet the eligibility requirements and qualifying standards.
Important Documents
To check the status of your entry, including declarations, visit the Status of Entries page (statuses are updated hourly). Athletes missing required documents (see below) will be listed as "info needed" until such documents are received.
The entry fee for the Championships is $25 per athlete. Late entries incur an additional $50 late fee per athlete (Total late entry=$75.00). All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Online entries must be paid for by credit card ("Visa, the only card accepted by USATF") or electronic funds transfer ("electronic check").
If you intend to compete in the Junior meet, please enter using the Junior entry forms.
Once properly entered, all athletes must complete the declaration process. This process confirms your intention to compete in the Championships and allows you to update your qualifying mark.
In addition to correctly entering the meet and having equaled or bettered the qualifying standard(s) during the stated qualifying periods, the following criteria must also be met:
Events in bold will be contested at the Championships. Events listed directly below those being contested may be used as alternates for qualifying. See Qualifying Guidelines below for full details.
Additional competitors, from those who have submitted entries, may be allowed to declare through petition to the Sport Committee Chair.
"A" and "B" Standards
Athletes who attain the "A" Standard will automatically be included in the event.
Athletes who have attained the "B" Standard will be allowed to declare, but will be notified if accepted into the Championships to compete in order to fill an event for competitiveness. The Sport Committee chair will make the final field size determination once declarations close. The "B" Standard may be used to fill the fields, in ranked order, to the desired field sizes. For notification purposes, a current phone number/e-mail address must be provided during the declaration process.
