First Annual Masters Track and Field Clinic

Monday August 11^th

 

The clinic would be held at SFCC (national venue) the following Monday, August 11. 

Clinic hours would be approx. 9:00 am until 1:00 pm focusing on track and some field events, excluding pole vaulting and jumping events. Intended for masters athletes who want to pick up training and competition tips, add an event and grassroots attendees.

 

Please pass the word an official release will be out next week. We will need coaches and named athletes to conduct the clinic. Financial assistance for Sunday night lodging is available for a limited number of staff. Email me if you are interested. This is a real opportunity for learning and camaraderie lets drum up participation.

 

BOD Meeting June 28-29

 

Due to a previous commitment I will not attend the in person meeting in Columbus OH. My first missed meeting.

North, Central American and the Caribbean WMA Regional Championships August 28 – 31, 2008

 

This event has not been well advertised please do what you can in your Region to get on outdoor schedules.

 

USA Outdoor Championships

Spokane August 6 – 10

 

The MTF Executive Committee will meet on Wednesday August 6^th at 7:00 PM. Please plan accordingly. This is our only in person meeting prior to the Annual Meeting and therefore is the start point for planning. Please begin gathering agenda items to ensure a smooth and productive Annual Meeting.

 

If you are not a member of the Executive Committee or won’t be in Spokane send me your issues.
