A little late this month Joyce forced me to go to
BOD Meeting this Weekend in
There has been a lot of activity on the search for a new CEO and the action will continue this weekend with an in person BOD meeting Saturday night and Sunday morning. Iíll report to the Executive Committee during our call and here via this media soon.
Iím planning a conference call with the Executive Committee on February 27th at
Eastern time. Please send agenda items.
Iíve updated my email address but still missing many Association representatives. Please review the USATF directory and if an association rep is vacant contact the associations and request them to update their info. Remember if you have not renewed your membership your name will not be shown on the directory.
WMA Indoor March 17 - 22
Latest athlete count is approximately 120. Iím leaving on March
13th and will be there to assist along with Phil Greenwald and Mary
Rosado. The relay team selection process we drafted in
As you know Iím on the LOC and weíve been having meeting regularly with
excellent progress. One issue to be aware of is if youíre coming to Boston the
meet hotel, DoubleTree Guest Suites - Boston, 400 Soldiers Field Rd, is in a
different area than past years due to a major convention in town that reserved
20k plus hotel rooms years ago. The hotel is only a mile or so further from the
track but not in downtown
Check it out! Itís up and running for all to see. Congratulations to Jeff Davidson and his cohorts. OUR Masters History site was approved at the annual meeting and is funded by masters.
