Coming off of last year’s world record performance, Team USATF women were hungry for back-to-back wins in the Michelob Ultra Women’s SMR (100, 100, 200, 400). Two of 2018’s record-breaking team members, Aaliyah Brown and Raevyn Rogers, were joined by Dezerea Bryant and Destiny Carter. Bryant opened strong, followed by Brown and Carter however, Jamaica established a lead and looked poised for the win until Rogers made a bold move on the final curve. The Jamaica vs. USA crowd roared as Rogers usurped first position with less than 200m to go, clinching the win in 1:37.87 with a 51.0 split.

In the Nike Women’s 4x100m, Team USATF Red and Blue took third and fourth behind Jamaica - led by Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price - and Canada. Dezerea Bryant, Aaliyah Brown, Destiny Carter and Taylor Bennett ran for Red in 44.40 and Destinee Brown, Robin Reynolds, Gabrielle Farquharson and  Asha Ruth in 44.37.

The Chocolate Milk Men’s Sprint Medley Relay closed out USA vs. The World, and Team USA Red - Remontay McClain, Marqueze Washington, Manteo Mitchell and Chris Giesting - fell just short of completing a men’s sweeps. Kenya held a large lead when Giesting took the baton for the 800m and clocked a valiant 1:48.50 to close the gap, but it wasn’t enough finishing just behind Kenya with a time of 3:17.49. USA Blue with Jamiel Trimble, Deshawn Marshall, Champ Page and Rob Ford clocked 3:20.15 for fourth place.
