Team USATF announces staff for 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru


INDIANAPOLIS -- Olympian and former record holder LaTanya Sheffield and Olympic coach from Baylor University Mike Ford will lead the Team USATF contingent at 2019 Lima XVIII Pan American Games as head coaches, USATF announced today.

In addition to her accolades as an athlete, Sheffield served on the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team - Track & Field staff as women’s sprints and hurdles assistant coach. Ford has also coached Olympians throughout his lengthy career, including Jeremy Wariner and Trayvon Bromell. 

The 2019 Pan American Games take place July 26-August 11 in Lima, Peru. Click here for the track and field information.
