Olympic bronze medalist, Jenny Simpson is scheduled to compete in the 5000m, her first indoor race at that distance since she was Jenny Barringer, a senior at the University of Colorado nearly 10 years. She’ll be joined on the oval by Stephanie Bruce and Kim Conley.

World champion Emma Coburn will return from an injury to compete in the mile against World Championships silver medalist Brenda Martinez.

Saturday, 2016 Olympian Sydney McLaughlin will make her high anticipated professional debut in the 500m. McLaughlin was the youngest Team USATF athlete to compete in the Olympics in 36 years and since then broke her own U20 World record in the 400m hurdles and won an NCAA title before turning pro.

Also making their pro debuts are Gabby Thomas, NCAA indoor 200m record holder and Kendall Ellis, the American indoor 400m record holder. Thomas and Ellis are competing in a stacked field in the women’s 300m against USATF champion and World Indoor silver medalist Shakima Wimbley and 2016 World Junior champion Candace Hill.

In the 800m Clayton Murphy, Olympic bronze medalist, will clash with 2016 World Indoor gold medalist Boris Berian and 2017 World Indoor Team USATF member, Donavan Brazier.

Rai Benjamin, the second fastest 400m hurdler in history, will compete as a professional for the first time on American soil in the men’s 300m.
