About Tori
Tori Bowie won her first international medal in 2015 when she brought home bronze in the 100 meters (10.86) at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing. She is a two-time NCAA champion, having swept the national long jump titles in 2011, her junior season at the University of Southern Mississippi. Since her turn as a professional in 2013 Bowie has shown steady improvement as both a sprinter and long jumper. She was the long jump runner-up at the 2014 USA Indoor Championships, earning her a trip to the World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland for the first time in her young career. Bowie finished 2013 ranked as the fifth best long jumper in the United States, and held the tenth best jump in the world on the year. As a high school athlete she won two state titles in three track & field events and was an All-State basketball player.
