Bougard made her first international team by qualifying for the 2012 World Junior Championships where she finished 13th in the heptathlon. Bougard made a quick transition to the senior level one year later when she recorded a personal best finish of 5,990 points to grab bronze at the 2013 USA Outdoor championships and punch her ticket to Moscow. Bougard not only competes as a multi-event athlete for the MSU Bulldogs, but has also scored points at the SEC championships in the triple jump, 4x100 and 4x400.
