Wallace Spearmon

2008 Olympic sprinter Wallace Spearmon was elected to an open athlete seat on the USATF board. The 2007 World Champion specialized in the 200m and 4x100m relay, winning several titles at the Continental Cup (2006, 2010) and gold in the 4x400m relay at the 2006 World Championships. Spearmon first earned gold for Team USATF at the 2004 NACAC Under-23 Championships, dominating in the 200m and 4x100m relay. Spearmon has been a longtime member of the Athletes Advisory Committee and has served on national teams as an assistant relay coach.
