Update: World Athletics decided on Wednesday, January 29 not to conduct the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China. The National Office staff and the USATF High Performance Executive committee conferred about the impact of this development on our athletes. USATF is awaiting information from World Athletics in order to determine qualifying standards, qualifying window, etc., for the postponed World Indoor Championships tentatively to be held in March 2021. We will pass along relevant information as soon as we have it. No USATF national teams will be selected at the upcoming 2020 Toyota USATF Indoor Championships, February 14-15 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All athletes are required to complete team processing in order to be eligible for selection to a 2019 USATF National Team. Athletes who fail to complete team processing during the timeframes listed below will forfeit their rank for selection to the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships national team.
