Eligibility
USATF members and clubs from the following Associations are eligible to score in this meet:

  • Arkansas
  • Border
  • Gulf
  • Oklahoma
  • South Texas
  • Southern
  • Southwestern
  • West Texas

Athletes who are not members of these Associations may compete as a guest but will not officially score in the championship

USATF Membership: To enter you must be a 2012 USATF Member in good standing. You may renew/join at www.usatf.org/membership. This is an Open championship.   

Minimum Age:

  • Women - 14 years and older (as of June 16, 2012)
  • Men- 16 years and older (as of June 16, 2012)
  • Wisconsin youth athletes (18 years and younger) are encourage to compete in the Wisconsin Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships held at the same location. For more information click here.

Relay Entries

Relay team members must be entered as individuals in the meet in at least one other event. $10 per relay, payable at time of declaration. One club entry per type of relay. Relay Team declaration by 10 AM on meet day. Must include only registered teams & team members.

Awards

  • Individuals: USATF Region Championship medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division in each event (gold, silver and bronze).
  • Teams: The winning Menís team and Womenís team a will be awarded $600 towards travel support to the USATF National Club Track & Field Championships (July 6-7 / Omaha, Neb.)

Team Scoring
Individual and relay events will be scored 5-3-2-1.

Throwing Implements / Pole Vault Poles
Throwing implements and Pole Vault poles will NOT be provided by the meet. Athletes must bring their own implements and poles. All throwing implements must be inspected and approved prior to use in competition.

Check-in / Declarations
A 3-cally system will be used.  Athletes not reporting by the 2nd call are subject to being scratched from the event.
