Eligibility
USATF members and clubs from the following Associations are eligible to score in this meet:

  • Colorado
  • Dakotas
  • Iowa
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri Valley
  • Nebraska
  • Ozark

Athletes who are not members of these Associations may compete as a guest but will not officially score in the championship

USATF Membership: To enter you must be a 2012 USATF Member in good standing. You may renew/join at www.usatf.org/membership. This is an Open championship. 

Minimum Age:

  • Women - 14 years and older (as of June 10, 2012)
  • Men- 16 years and older (as of June 10, 2012) 

Entry Fees and Deadlines

$15 per athlete; $20 per relay

All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No entry will be considered completed unless it is accompanied by full payment of fees and all required documents (see below).

Notes:
  • the USATF Ozark Association Open & Masters Championships and the Border Wars will be held in conjunction with this event .
  • Unless otherwise indicated, all events are FINALS on Time
  • Hurdle events for the following age divisions will not be conducted due to not having 27" hurdles
         80m Hurdles - M80+, W60+
         200m/300m Hurdles - M70+, W60+

The meet will follow a rolling schedule after the first event of the day begins.

Relay Entries

Relay team members must be entered as individuals in the meet in at least one other event.   If an athlete is only going to run a relay then they must select "Relay Leg Only" as their event during the entry process.

Awards

  • Individuals: USATF Region Championship medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division in each event (gold, silver and bronze).
  • Teams: The winning Men’s team and Women’s team a will be awarded $600 towards travel support to the USATF National Club Track & Field Championships (July 6-7 / Omaha, Neb.)

Team Scoring
Individual and relay events will be scored 5-3-2-1.

Throwing Implements / Pole Vault Poles
 Athletes must provide their own their own implements and pole vault poles. All throwing implements must be inspected and approved prior to use in competition.

Check-in / Declarations

  • Track Events - Athletes will must check in 1 hour prior to the listed start time of the event, at the time the event will be reseed if needed.  Athletes will be called to the clerk 30 minutes prior to the start of the event to receive hip and /or lane assignments.  Athletes will then be escorted to the event by a line clerk.   
  • Field Events - Athletes will be called to check-in at the event 60 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Facility
The track is an 8 lane 48” lanes. The surface is an encapsulated Conica Surface. ¼’ Pyamid spikes on all surfaces only. The throwing surfaces are brushed concrete.

  • From the East: Route 64, Exit 38-B and turn left on Market. Take another left on Compton Ave., cross over I-64. Turn Right on LA Salle Ave.
  • From the West:  Route 64,  Exit 37-A (Market), Right on Compton Ave., cross I-64. Turn Right on La Salle Ave.
