Gary Westerfield |

Westerfield has developed a coaching program for a middle school and high school in Long Island, N.Y., introducing athletes to track and field and race walking. Becoming a mentor for officials and judges surrounding the race walking community, Westerfield is a Masters level official with years of involvement at the NAIA track and field level.
Westerfield has been involved with the Long Island Association and worked earlier this year to help the New York Association become certified. He has been involved in race walk, men’s and women’s track and field, the youth committee, coaching education at USA Track & Field and has also been involved at the IAAF level in race walking, the Officials Committee and the Associations Committee. |

Dorothy Dawson |
|
|
Dawson was a delegate to USA Track & Field's Constitutional Convention in 1979. She currently serves on the National Youth Athletics Executive Committee, is Vice-Chair Administration/Treasurer, and is President of the USATF Illinois Association. A former USATF Youth Regional Committee Chair, Dawson received a USATF President's Award in 1998 for her more than three decades of distinguished service. She was also recently honored when the Annual Dorothy Dawson Invitational was held for the first time on February 7, 2009 at Proviso West HS in Hillside, Ill., which serves as a youth meet, and a USATF Indoor Open and Masters Regional Championships. |

Bob Larsen |

|
Larson, who retired in 1999 as head coach of the UCLA cross country program after 21 seasons and led the Bruins track and field program for 15 seasons, became a co-founder of the highly successful Team USA Running Group. Now known as the Mammoth Track Club, the Mammoth, Calif.-based elite team's goal has been to bring U.S. distance running performances back to the level of international success that was seen in the 1970s and 80s. Since beginning operations in March of 2001, the Mammoth Track Club has produced multiple national champions, set numerous records and has placed a number of its athletes on U.S. Olympic and world championship teams. |

Darlene Hickman |

Hickman has served the sport in countless ways over the course of more than 30 years. She has coached young athletes at her local school and has been an Olympic and Goodwill Games meet official. With a history of involvement with youth, race walk, women's track and field, long distance running, masters track and field, coaching education, athlete development and USATF Associations, she has worked in nearly every area of the sport. |
