This will be my first marathon, but have experienced it as a spectator. Living in the middle of the route, I'm proud that they think enough of our area to hold the race here. An opportunity for others to see our wonderful town.

I love the course! I have lived along the course for years, cheered on the runners and this year I am doing it (2009).

I love the course. Great marathon. Great organization. Marvelous finish. I ran it in 2006. If I can roll enough coins, I will make the trip this year (from CA). Only complaint was that my name didn't appear at marathonguide.com. I've ran 45 marathons, all listed at marathonguide.com except Jacksonville 2006.
