This is not a race if you want to be competitive! It's an ok race to run one time if you don't know what you are getting into...the first part of the race ....about 6 miles is paved but 😲 omg the next 6 is all rock! And I don't mean small gravel! I'm a long distance runner and my feet and toes never burned or hurt like this half marathon made them...those rocks were laid thick and comparable to running on river may be flat but no way fast when you are trying to keep from having an injury after. The weather was nice , the people were awesome, they ran out of Gatorade at the finish line!!! I needed electrolytes...also there's only water or Gatorade at every water station ...they did great having enough water stations👌At every 2 mile hit. Since it is called the berry/dairy run they should offer berries at the finish...or milk drinks but they didn't. No food at the end, VERY DISSAPOINTED at the end! The fininsher medal is weak as well. It wasn't well organized, people were trying to figure out where the start was as they didn't have that marked either. They did however have great volunteers who were there to direct everyone on their routes, so they get an A for that. It was disorganized but I'm a go with the flow person. This race has great potential to grow and become better with some changes. They need to find a better route than running that dike river though, those rocks r dangerous to run especially the distance you have to run on them!

Loved this course! Rural country roads and lovely dike road. Rained the whole race, but very cheerful volunteers at all critical points and water stations. Thanks for a great race!

Very disappointed with the later part of this course, I am struggling to understand how it is USTAF certified. Not only was it dangerous with over a mile or two of loose rocks there was not enough marshals guiding the course. I won't be running this race again.
