This is a wonderfull place to run; volunteers and police handle everthing to keep you on course and supporters along route keep you going.

It's beautiful and flat. The race is done at low tide so the sand isn't an issue (for the 1 mile you are actually on it), and like every other race on earth, traffic is handled by the police. I ran the race last year and do all my long training runs on the same course (minus the bridge) and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Running on the sand is only hard for wimps!! Real runners will face any situation & over come - happy for the chance for a challenge!! Beautiful FLORIDA in February - what left to be said :)
