Flat and fast out and back with beautiful views of the ocean.

Very well staffed but not as scenic as the map makes it look. The first couple miles are on a small shoulder of a relativity busy street that is not closed to traffic. There are a few minor ups and downs as you round the bend heading to the 5K mark. The marina loop had some nice views but you will be busy staying alert to cars as you wind through the parking lots. At mile 7 you branch onto a rough flat trail that runs a couple miles that seems worthy of mention in the Attributes. A final ramp up the boardwalk at mile 9 leading to another rough trail makes a strong finish difficult but rewarding.
