In case anybody's super anal retentive about the distances (me! me!) this distance is definitely not precise. The start was definitely not west of 2nd as shown in this route - it was much closer to 3rd (it might have even been 3rd?) and the turns as mapped tend to go wide on most of the intersections. I was having a conversation with a friend about paces from the race tonight so this came up. But the race and the course were terrific, well organized, very fun!!

The best race in the world - at least my world :-) I have run about 700 races in the last 25 years, and this was my 22nd time in this race. It continues to be the one I enjoy the most. Great people in the race organization, great city, and the most fun participants I have ever had the honor to share a course with.

My fourth time running and once again a great event. It is a great route, however, I did not like the end. I much preferred a straight run ending at Safeco as in previous years, but I guess they needed more space for booths/people at the finish. Only issue on the course was people walking in the red wave after first 400 yards. If you need/want to walk, why not go in the yellow wave? All in all a fun run. Oh, the bus loading was bad. I appreciate the shuttle buses to the race start and the drivers were great, but the single point for loading sucked. That was a nasty long line.
