As above. Steep climb from about 0.9-1.3 mile of 120ft with a 110 turn and quick drop. Really separates the runners early. Gently rolling the rest of the way for all distances (5k, 8.1m,13.1m and 30k). Three well manned drink/gel stops. Good camaraderie and a great spring tune-up. See you there

This is a challenging but enjoyable route to run. This race starts next to the tennis courts at North Park, your 1st mile is quite flat. A left turn onto McKinney is the only major hill in this race, it's about a quarter mile long and quite intense. Save your energy as you have 12 miles to go, the downhill is steep and over before you know it. Then you have a flat run round to the park entrance. From the park entrance it's flat and fast back to the tennis courts and over the Start/Finish line for you first loop of the park. You will experience gently rolling hills for the next 4 miles as you circle the lake and enjoy the scenery. Mile 8 flattens out and things will start looking familiar as you circle around the tennis courts again and cross the Start/Finish again for your last loop. The loop is a repeat, no need to repeat myself. Enjoy the race!
