This is one of my favorite local 10K runs because so much of the course is off-street. Certainly some things could be improved and it's not the fastest course around but it's enjoyable and the food is plentiful.

Like Jo it did seem like the markers were off. That last climb mile 5 to mile 6 seems slightly harder than the elevation indicates. Could of been the night before, but all the same enjoy this local Los Gatos run.

First 2 mile markers were off, mile 1 was too long, mile 2 was way too short. Accuracy regained by mile 3. Then confusion started with the half-marathon miles being posted and first-timers thinking they had got on the wrong course. I didn't see the mile 5 marker at all but some friends had missed the mile 4 marker which I did see so the missing mile 5 may have been my error, but several people were worrying about how much further they had to go along that last mile. A good race though, hot and somehow tougher than it looks.
