Beautiful Course rain or shine... Huge difference from last year when people were having heatstrokes, this year was hypothermic-LOL! The rain and wind was brutal at the end. Cheers to all the volunteers who I know were colder just standing there the whole time- Thank You!

The high winds were brutal for 2010. Beautiful course along the ocean. 4 mi paved, 5 mi trail, 4 mi paved. Narrow trail a bit muddy and little rocks and some horse landmines, not too bad. The course is anything but flat, I don't understand the other reviews, maybe they run mountains all day or something. However if the weather alert says 30-40 mph sustained winds with 60 mph gusts next year, I may consider skipping out. Hoping for nicer weather next year. The results WERE online immediately if you knew where to look. It just took a few hours before Santa Cruz actually linked their website to the results. One minor nitpick -- the 10K and the half marathoners got the same medal imprinted with "10K and half marathon", kinda cheesy IMHO. I accidentally missed grabbing my free t-shirt at the end. Crowd to the front if you have a decent pace. It's a mob stampede start!
