USATF Chief Public Affairs Officer Jill Geer on Sunday ran her first and only 26.2-mile race, at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. In the latest installment of her blog, entitled "At the Crossroads, Part II", she recounts her day on the streets of the Windy City, which included flashbacks to 1974, heavy metal head-banging, mid-race socialization and an exercise in personal metallurgy.
